Uttarakhand government requires all pilgrims to register before the Char Dham Yatra:
- Register online at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
- Enter personal details, Aadhar number, and tour dates
- Get your biometric registration slip (ePass)
- Carry your ePass and Aadhar Card on the yatra

Best Time for Char Dham Yatra from Ahmedabad
- May–June: Most popular months. Good weather but crowded.
- September–October: Less crowded, cooler, roads cleaner after monsoon. Highly recommended by our tour managers.
- July–August: Monsoon season. High risk of landslides and road blockages. Avoid.
Health Considerations for Char Dham
Kedarnath is at 3,584 metres altitude. Badrinath is at 3,300 metres. All travelers should:
- Consult a doctor before booking if you have heart, BP, or respiratory conditions
- Carry Diamox (altitude sickness medicine) — consult doctor
- Avoid alcohol and smoking throughout the yatra
- Stay hydrated and avoid rushing the trek
- Horses/dolis are available for those who cannot trek to Kedarnath
